Description
This course covers the synthesis, structure-activity relationship, metabolic pathways of drugs, including central nervous system stimulants and depressants.
The practical course includes some the respective analytical procedures. Special analytical methods described in pharmacopoeias (tests for identity and purity control of the pharmaceutical compounds) and validation of the results.
