Course Prerequisites

Description

All aspects in organic chemistry important to understand the properties and – in particular – the reactivity of pharmaceutically relevant substances; e.g., chemical bonds, aliphatic and aromatic states, types of chemical reactions: radical substitution, nucleophilic substitution, photochemical reactions, reactions of carbonyl group compounds, oxidation and reduction of functional groups. Stereochemistry and chemical nomenclature; practical applications.
