Sports Activities Manager

Job Description:

• Manages and supervises students’ sports activities and competitions regional, national and international
• Communicates and coordinates with other department heads and team members to ensure that the department’s activities align with the university’s goals and objectives.
• Provides a diversity of programs to meet the needs of the students and contributes to their overall campus life
• Responsible for setting goals and objectives, leading, managing and developing the sports department and ensures that goals are met in an efficient and excellent manner.
• Provides guidance and support to the department’s team members and ensures that their performance is managed effectively to be consistent with the goals and expectations of the department.
• Manages the department’s budget and ensures that financial resources are allocated in the most efficient and effective way.
• Maintains relationships with the external partners and also, represents the department in meetings and negotiations with external organizations.
• Conducts reports to upper-level management about the operation of their department and work to implement the organization’s larger strategy.


Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field, such as business administration, management, or any related
field.
• A degree or diploma in sports management is preferred
• More than 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Sports activities
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills and a proven record in managing people.
