A modern training concept involves training on dental skills that will be initiated in the early phases of the study through laboratory training using phantom head simulations to facilitate a smooth transition of students' skills from the preclinical to the clinical phase.
Implementation of the Ulm model of comprehensive clinic care to emphasize a holistic medicine approach and to reflect contemporary multi-specialty clinic environments. This involves students designing customized treatment plans for their patients and addressing varying levels of complexity during the 3rd, 4th, and 5th years of the Dentistry program.
Furthermore, covering important topics such as dental esthetics, occlusion, dental implants, oral rehabilitation, geriatrics and emergency medicine within the curriculum in an integrated manner between different disciplines aims to accomplish maximum benefit and equip students with the necessary skills to effectively handle different dental problems based on the most recent evidence.
Offering extracurricular courses will equip young dentists for the professional field. This includes comprehensive knowledge of ethical principles, understanding the syndicate Bylaws. In addition, a marketing course should lay the groundwork for establishing and managing a dental practice guiding on day-to-day clinic operations.
