This Course is offered to 7th semester Structural Major
The aim of the course is to enable students to design pre-stressed concrete structures and to understand their advantages and field of application. The course builds up strongly on the knowledge acquired in previous semesters in structural analysis, design of reinforced concrete structures and properties and testing of materials. Assignments on designing pre-stressed concrete members deepen the theoretical knowledge obtained in the lectures and tutorials.
