Motivation:
Construction projects have become very complex, involving huge amount of information and huge number of multidisciplinary teams. Many problems on construction projects experience time, cost overruns due to information disconnect and information loss. This research group is concerned with the use of information technology to facilitate the work carried out among the management with construction projects and the relevant business process and procurement.
Research Activities:
IT management in construction, construction business process, procurement models, Lean construction, risk management, construction health and safety, Public-Private-Partnership (PPP), Building Information Modelling (BIM), green building legislation framework, value engineering, and green construction life cycle costing.
