Job Description
• Set up, deliver and evaluate a wide range of social, cultural and sports activities for the students.
• Plan and coordinate multiple and on and off-campus events in terms of logistics, financial, administrative aspects.
• Ensure all students are offered a diverse, exciting and relevant range of activities
• Review existing activity on a routine basis, to evaluate success, identify and implement improvement
• Ensure good communications exist between the student activities department, university staff, visitors, external parties and students
• Promote and encourage links between students and the cultural life of the wider community
• Follow up on the social media channels to maintain two-way communication with all parties
• Assist in organizing sports activities and manage to participate in regional and national competitions
• Plan, direct, and oversee staff, operations, and activities of an assigned Youth Services program or site in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; evaluates program effectiveness; recommends changes and implements management decisions
• Identify youth needs and facilitating from a community development approach the implementation of appropriate strategies to meet those needs
• Develop and maintain effective and meaningful youth participation mechanisms that provides opportunities for young people to have a voice on youth issues
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Managements, Law, Pharmacy or Applied arts
• 0 – 2 years of experience
• Fluent English Language skill
• Excellent MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Effective administrative skills, including the ability to organize and prioritize own workload in order to meet tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
• Proactive, take initiative and able to make decisions
• Able to work and interact efficiently with all levels of colleagues
• Had a significant experience in the GUC AWG
• Participated in either GUC graduation or orientation events
