Purpose of the job
The purpose of the job of the Start-ups project-coordinator is to assist the start-ups project manager to synchronize the work flow between the GUC departments with the new projects’ teams in order to achieve the targeted objectives set by upper management timely. In addition, the Start-ups project coordinator should keep meeting minutes, ensure efficient follow-up, facilitate document circulation and suggest –if needed- adjustments on projects’ timelines and implementation steps.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Establishes connections and efficient reporting techniques between the GUC departments and the new projects’ teams to ease the communication of information to facilitate the start-up of new projects
2. Ensures timely data collection and establishes a data bank for all project information and documents
3. Ensures circulation of information related to specific tasks to its targeted team members.
4. Works with the Start-ups Project Manger to analyze gathered data in order to prepare for meetings/ create manuals/ deliverables related to the establishment and later of the operation of the new projects.
5. Develops proposals for meeting schedules and tasks’ time lines and documents all meetings minutes.
6. Circulates cross functional documents between various stakeholders
7. Creates periodical reports on ongoing operation and liaise the work of consultants for one time jobs and/ or consultancy
8. Coordinates the logistics for the new hires of new projects
9. Does internet searches to scan existing information about similar project in the local and international markets
Job requirements
1. Bachelor degree in management/ business administration or relevant field.
2. 3-5 years experience in a related field
Skills
1. Fluent in English, German language knowledge is a plus
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Problem solving skills
