The right-back spent 2019 on loan with Telekom Veszprem before committing to the Hungarian team permanently in 2021. He won three SEHA leagues (2020, 2021, 2022) and three Hungarian Cups (2021, 2022, 2023). He also won a national title in 2023.

Yahia Omar was ranked fourth at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and earned the gold medal with the Egyptian national team at the 2020 African Nations Championship. With 38 goals scored, the future Parisian was selected as the competition's top right-back.
