GUC VIP Visit from South Africa Ambassador Ntsiki Mashimbye

The GUC Chairman of the Board of Trustees Professor Dr. Ashraf Mansour received His Excellency South Africa Ambassador Ntsiki Mashimbye who toured the different parts of the University. Accompanied by Professor Dr. Mansour and Eng. Abdelfattah Mansour GUC Vice Chairman of BOT. The Ambassador visited the Solar City Park, the Media Production Center (MPC) and inspected the constructions of the Medical Complex and the Faculty of medicine as well as the MNR labs.

 

This visit is in line with GUC’s vision to continue to be the bridge between Europe, Germany and Africa. The exchange of technological know- how and networking among scientists were on top of the meetings’ agenda. Ambassador Mashimbye also expressed his admiration for the role GUC is playing to offer post- doctorate scholarship to African scholars under the umbrella of the African Academy of Sciences (AAS). Also it is worth mentioning that, GUC have previously played a vital role in the African scientific and research development by opening Africa Tech Center” by cooperating with the German company DMG.
