The Implementation Launch of the Visual Identity Project for “Bir Masoud” in Alexandria

The Governor of Alexandria Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif launched the start of the implementation of the Visual identity project for the Bir Masoud area, at a cost of EGP 25 million, with a duration of 6 months.  The project is carried out in coordination with the GUC and the Armed Forces’ Engineering Authority under the presidential mandate to generalize the visual identity initiative in all governorates.

 

The ceremony was attended by the GUC’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees Professor Dr. Ashraf Mansour, Major General Ahmed Fahmy, Director of Major Projects Department, on behalf of Major General Ihab El-Far, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Dr. Jacqueline Azar, Deputy Governor, and the team for implementing visual identity initiative in the governorates of Egypt from all disciplines of the German University in Cairo .

 

According to this project, Alexandria will acquire its own visual identity through means of transportation, areas and advertisements, in addition to the style of the font related to Alexandria, which will be unique and distinguished from any other governorate.

 

The Bir Masoud project will include 5 parts, the first of which is the historical walkway in the area of ​​Bir Masoud in addition to the northern walkway that overlooks the sea and rocks, with the aim of connecting the Egyptian family with nature, and the southern walkway that overlooks the main street.  In addition, there will be a play area east of the main walkway, while in the west of the walkway, fast food kiosks and the provision of the administration building will be established.
