Khaled got his bachelor degree in Media Engineering & Technology back in 2012 from the German University in Cairo, due to his huge passion for music right after graduation he started his career as a composer.Afterward he decided to study music academically and in 2016, he completed his Master's degree with distinction in music composition for the screen from the University of Edinburgh, UK.  

 

Having started as a musical assistant and orchestrator for several key figures in the Egyptian media industry, he is now composing for film, TV, theatre, as well as the concert hall. A considerable portion of his career has been dedicated to "standing on the shoulders of giants".He had the honor of collaborating with and assisting some of the major composers of the Middle East in high profile projects: Al Asleyeen, Afrah Al Qubba, Sonea fi Masr, and La Moakhza, to name a few.  

 

He is the first Egyptian to win Hollywood Music in Media Award in year 2019 and that is for the soundtrack of “Qabeel” series.“

 

The Hollywood Music In Media Award (HMMA) is the first award organization to honor original music (Song and Score) in all visual media from around the globe including film, TV, video games, trailers, commercial advertisements, documentaries and special programs.The HMMA nominations have historically been representative of the nominees of key awards shows that are announced months later.The HMMA main event features live music performances, celebrity presenters, tributes to music industry icons, awards for composers, songwriters and artists. The most recent accomplishment in Khaled’s music career was in 2020 when he took part in the series of “Paranormal” produced by Netflix as the official composer of the series soundtrack.
