The German University in Cairo (GUC) is proud to announce its role as co-organizer and host of the third and final day of the 20th International Conference of the Arab Chemists Union (ICACU 2026), held under the theme “Innovation in Chemistry and Merits of Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability and a Greener Future.” The conference will take place from 20–22 April 2026, with the closing day hosted at the GUC campus on 22 April 2026.
ICACU 2026 is organized in collaboration with the Egyptian Chemical Society, the National Research Centre (NRC), the Arab Chemists Union, and the German University in Cairo. The event is held under the auspices of prominent national and regional figures in the field of chemistry and scientific research, and serves as one of the largest platforms in the Arab region for the exchange of scientific knowledge, research innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The conference brings together leading scientists, researchers, and professionals from across the Arab world, Europe, and Asia to discuss advancements across all fields of chemistry. Special emphasis is placed on the role of artificial intelligence in shaping greener technologies, sustainable chemical processes, and future scientific methodologies. Topics include organic and inorganic chemistry, renewable energy, nanotechnology, bioscience, industrial chemistry, cultural heritage science, and AI in scientific research.
Participants will engage in scientific sessions, workshops, poster presentations, exhibitions, and networking opportunities throughout the three-day event.
