On the 26th of November 2018, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mansour hosted Top VIP African delegates at GUC. This delegation is comprised of ministers and highest government officials from various African countries that are also attending Cairo ICT. The delegation made a tour to GUC’s MNR and Nanorobotics and Festo Labs, Solar City, and Industry Park. Mr. Mahmoud Aly, Regional Director of DMG MORI Africa Office gave the delegates a brief about GUC DMG MORI Africa Tech Center that is located inside GUC Campus and hosts the latest technologically advanced machines in the region. 

Finally, the delegation got a brief about the 17th International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing #MUM18 hosted at GUC and for the first time in Africa and the Middle East by Prof. Slim Abdennadher – Conference Chair and GUC’s Vice President for Academic Affairs
