The first project is the Smart GUC Campus project, which is a homegrown system that supports current and future generations of the GUC with various services. The students, teaching assistants and academics of the Faculties of Information Engineering and Technology and Media Engineering and Technology have collaborated together to present to students, educators, and administrators beneficial on campus services. In addition, the project will also include certain technological solutions for smart education. This project has the potential of positioning the GUC as one of the leading universities globally in integrating Internet of things (IOT) technology in education, services, and management operations.

The second project is the HeliMag presented by the MNR (Medical Micro and Nano Robotics Lab) at the German University in Cairo.

The Hannover Messe (HM; English: Hanover Fair) is the world's biggest industrial fair. It is held on the Hanover fairground in Hanover, Germany. Typically, there are about 6,500 exhibitors and 250,000 visitors. This year the opening will be attended by President Barack Obama and Chancellor Angela Merkel.
