GUC Innovators Won the "Technical Innovation Award" of Shell Eco Marathon Competition, 2019!

GUC Innovators from the German University in Cairo, Egypt demonstrated an outstanding technical ingenuity where the team developed a system for vehicle drivers with physical limitations (such as missing arms or legs) using a drive-by-wire system that is controlled via brainwave and facial sensors. There is a real-world need for this application and now the practicality of this is within technological reach. The student team walked away with a "USD3000 prize.

What is Shell Eco-marathon?

Shell Eco-marathon is a competition for High School and University Student Teams around the world providing a collaborative platform to get hands-on experience in achieving ultra-energy-efficiency. There are Challenger Events for first-time teams and Regional Events for qualified teams.
