In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the GUC, and as part of academic duty to acknowledge excellent efforts done by students and encourage continuous research, the faculty of Management Technology is hosting “Thesis Poster Display Conference: COP17 & Future Sustainability”.

The faculty used to host a thesis conference known as “Thesis Awards Conference, GUC-TAC”. After two years of holding massive social distancing restrictions that prevented most of on campus events, the Faculty of Management technology is happy to organize this event back this year and launch a call to all GUC faculties; undergraduate and postgraduate. It would be a two day conference, through which students will be able to answer any questions concerning their research and an award ceremony session is organized. The conference will provide a domestic and international platform for academics to discuss topics related to sustainable development.

Since Climate Change and Sustainable Development are becoming an increasingly important issue for any educator, sustainability is chosen to be the main theme of the conference. Moreover, Egypt is hosting the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27) in November 2022. The conference is expected to be a fundamental turning point in international climate efforts particularly for African countries. The theme of the conference would be part of the spreading awareness among students about the major steps taken domestically and international to achieve sustainability.
