In this special edition of the GUC-TAC conference, undergraduate as well as graduate students from the different faculties of the GUC, including Management Technology,
Engineering, Computer Science, and Applied Arts were engaged in discussions with the academic instructors, supervisors, faculty members, and other peer students.
Two keynote speeches about the main topic and theme of the conference, Sustainable Development Goals in light of the COP27 conference taking place in Egypt later this year,
were presented. The first was presented by Ms. Dunia Elmasry, founder of WeCare foundation, about sustainable material and plastic waste. The second keynote was by
Eng. Christine Safwat, a GUC graduate of the first batch of engineering, also presented the goals and mission of the Educate Me foundation she is managing as an executive director.
In the end, a special award was given to the top 5 poster presentations and the next 5 nominated posters. The awards were given by the President of the GUC, Dr. Yasser Hegazy,
and the Dean and Vice-dean of the faculty of Management Technology, Dr. Ehab Kamel and Dr. Noha El-Bassiouny. This event was organized by Dr. Heba Ghoneim, Dr. Ayman Al-Serafi,
and Dr. Antonio Rodriguez from the departments of Economics and Business Informatics at the GUC.
