GUC celebrates Mina Bekheet class 09 international achievement on GUC campus

On 7th June 2017, Prof. Ashraf Mansour, GUC Prime Founder and The Chairman of the Board of Trustees received GUC Pharmacy & Biotechnology graduate 2009 graduate Dr. Mina Bekheet studies for PhD in Oxford University and became among the 300 influential public figures under the age of 30 in Europe according to Forbes magazine.

Mina Bekheet got his Master degree in 2011 from London University and he studies for his PhD degree in Oxford University. He aimed at bridging the gap between research and innovation. He founded Panacea Innovation (UK).

He was listed among the 30 world’s entrepreneurs in Forbes magazine category of sciences for 2016-2017. As listed in Forbes “Bekheet founded Panacea Innovation during his time at the University of Oxford to bridge the gap between scientific research and scientific innovation. The company is breeding a new generation of bio-entrepreneurs by creating a ecosystem for scientists to translate academic research into game-changing companies through its BioStars accelerator”

He was chosen among the 300 most influential people, who are under 30 years old, in the European list of Forbes magazine for his work in research and science.

GUC president Prof. Mahmoud Hashem Abdelkader, GUC Vice President, GUC Deans and academic staff attended the reception that celebrates Bekheet’s international achievement.

Prof. Ashraf Mansour expressed his pride to have GUC graduates among the top talents in Europe and in the world. He expressed gratitude to the success stories of the Egyptian GUC graduates in Europe which confirmed that German university in Cairo philosophy of education is a successful one. This is because of the fact that excellence in education is the benchmark for GUC selection and operation. GUC is a  German/Egyptian bi-national educational & research institute.
