  Ismail Hussein Kamel El Sharkawy, Engineering student at GUC, winner of the Golden Medal at 31st Tournament for Egyptian Universities Championship – Discus Throwing.

Furthermore, El Sharkawy has been nominated for the Jordanian Tournaments for the Arab Universities, which will take place from the 25th of April until 6th of May 2004.
In 2003 he won 2nd under 20 in Discus Throwing at the Ahly Club and in 2002 El 2nd place at the Arab schools in Lebanon
