At the age of 14 Salma joined successfully national and international competitions.
She joined Arab, African and Nigerian championships and is now visiting a coachingcamp for 6 month in Atlanta preparing for the Athens Olympics 2004.

Salma – as many say- is the new flourishing future, who will represent Egypt in swimming; and as Salma told Ahker Saa Magazine "she will colect the underwater Gold of Athens".
