PHARMACY & BIOTECHNOLOGY

The Main Responsibilities of the Posts are:

• Research
  The successful candidate will be expected to pursue research and publication in a manner consistent with the highest scholarly standards; The appointed candidate should be able to provide strong research leadership, take appropriate roles in national and international forums for research; develop the faculty’s national and international research links and prominence.
• Teaching Responsibilities
  Teaching will be at undergraduate and / or postgraduate levels; supervision of graduate research students; act as a personal adviser (tutor) to undergraduate students.
• Administration
  The appointee will be expected to contribute to the administration of the department in ways proportionate to their appointed grade. These activities include course management, membership of departmental, faculty committees and ad hoc assignment as the need arises.

Specialized courses are expected in galenic formulation technologies, biopharmacy, pharmaceutical dosage forms, quality assurance.
