Trained in proportions, perspective drawing and nature drawing, drawing skills capable to teach the use of color and material, sculpting experience, teaching experience, own artistic work.

Teaching Assistant Anatomical Drawing and Anatomical Modeling

Education

BA or Master in Fine Arts, Sculpting or Design with high anatomical interest

Main duties and responsibilities

Supporting professors, teaching in some of the following disciplines: Anatomy, 3-D modeling with clay, wire and various materials, drawing. Experience in teaching, open-minded for new fields of teaching.

Qualification

Knowledge of anatomy, especially in the skeleton or muscular system of humans and animals, the locomotion system; practical anatomy skills, e.g. setting together animal skeletons, theoretical anatomy, sculpting experience, drawing skills, own artistic works.

Professor in Graphic Design

B.A. or Master in Media Engineering or Design or somebody with similar practical background; excellent knowledge of software tools for design proven by previous work, Apple Mac OS X

Main duties and responsibilities

Teaching of software tools, some hardware, technical and artistic support of students while realizing their projects, administrative work, undertake further qualification.

Qualification

Excellent knowledge of software tools in one or more of the following fields:

Media Design:

- Photography and Video: e.g. Photoshop, Scan, Print, Final Cut Pro, DVD Authoring, After Effects; Audio Tools e.g. Logic Pro

- Animation: e.g. Flash, GoLive, Dreamweaver, 3D Animation with Autodesk Maya und Cinema4D

- Interactive Media: e.g. Adobe Director, Adobe Flash, Max/MSP; Programming: HTML, Java, Script Language, Action Script and ingo;

- interactive media technique (e.g. sensors, actors, control techniques, interface development)

Product Design:

- e.g. Cinema 4 D, Pro E

Graphic Design:

- e.g. CS2, Illustrator, In Design, Acrobat and various aid programmes:

Workshop Supervisor Photography

Education

Education as Photographer, Media Engineer or somebody with similar pratical background; excellent knowledge of photographic techniques (digital and analog), picture editing (digital and analog), print and studio techniques.

Main duties and responsibilities

Establishing the photo workshops (e.g. photo studio), maintaining the photo workshops, supporting students during the realization of their artistic projects, teaching, undertaking further research and education.

Qualification

- Camera technique (analog, digital, 35 mm up to large-format)

- b/w lab techniques,

- digital image techniques

- Mac OS X

- Digital image editing (e.g. Photoshop)

- Professional scan and print (also high end)

- Photo studio

- Photo shooting techniques

- Lighting (techniques and design)

- teaching and administrative abilities

- open-minded for experimental work

Workshop Supervisor Apple Mac Lab

Education

B.A. or Master in Media Engineering or Design or somebody with similar practical background; excellent technical knowledge of Apple Mac OS X, networks, server, hardware, excellent knowledge of the standard software tools proved by record of previous work.

Main duties and responsibilities

Responsible for the establishment, maintenance and further planning of the Mac computer labs; supporting students during the realization of their design projects, supporting further projects, teaching, administrative work, undertaking further research and education

Qualification

Excellent technical knowledge of Apple Mac OS X, networks, server, hardware, excellent knowledge of the standard software tools, open-minded for experimental and media crossing work (e.g. integration of interactive techniques).

Workshop Supervisor Metal

Education

Education as model maker and / or cabinetmaker with interest in model making

Main duties and responsibilities

Establish and maintain a model making. Offer introductory courses to the students. Deliver basic understanding of machines and occupational health and safety. Establish contacts with local metal workshop, paint shops, suppliers of semi-finished parts.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of model making and furniture construction. Ability to work with various materials (e.g. wood, foam, metal, plastics). Knowledge of varnishing and mold making. Capacity for teamwork, good sense of comprehension. Pedagogic and teaching capability.
