Graduates of the IET program have excellent chances in development and research, or in management of IT vendor companies, network operators, or applied IT areas. With the rapid development of information and communication technologies and related IT economic development, major industries experience significant labour shortage. GUC graduates in these areas of specialization will find high demand for their knowledge and skills. GUC graduates go on to employment in organizations across all sectors of the economy, business, industry, financial services, research and development organizations. Specific employment opportunities in a wide variety of entry-level professional positions would include: information officer, marketing information assistant, research officer, network administrator, database administrator, Web developer, application developer, programmer analyst, computer maintenance engineer and many others.
