	GUC commits to generating, disseminating, and preserving knowledge, and to working with many partners in all kinds of study fields related to technical and scientific subjects. GUC students will experience a dynamic education that combines fundamental academic study and the excitement of discovery new methods to the development of practical applications according to German academic requirements. GUC supports each member of the students community with the ability and energy to work efficiently, effectively and creatively for the benefit of all humankind.
	Research Focus
	GUC will have a variety of interdisciplinary applied research activities, extending across all faculties and departments, and crossing traditional subject boundaries. Business and industry from small local and regional companies to major multinational enterprises will benefit from collaboration with GUC researchers. The university will foster an environment conducive to research and innovative activities.
