Mr. Peter Hassenbach, the Head of Division “International Exchanges in Higher Education, Internationalization” at the German Federal Ministry of Education & Research visit to GUC on 16th January 2017

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mansour,  GUC Prime Founder and Chairman of the Board of trustees received Mr. Peter Hassenbach, the Head of Division “International Exchanges in Higher Education, Internationalization” at the German Federal Ministry of Education & Research visited the GUC on 16th January 2017.

 

This visit is the first visit for Mr. Hassenbach to Egypt and to the German university in Cairo as the first German university to be operating out of the German land. The visit aimed to get introduced to the state of the art technology followed in the academic field that is being followed by the GUC as a bi-national education institute. The agenda of the visit included, a presentation about the GUC in general, then a presentation about the German Language Centre that is considered to be the largest operating German Centre in the world; as the number of enrolled students in it exceeds 5000 in different language proficiency levels. This presentation was followed by the GUC Quality Assurance & Development Department presentation.

 

Mr. Peter Hassenbach visited the GUC industrial Park that includes German high tech industrial line to serve the community, the GUC students, and graduates.  He visited as well GUC Solar City which is A Solar Energy Research Mega complex that serves Research Projects, Researchers, and Education in Egypt as well as in Germany and the world. This mega complex includes solar power cells to serve automotive industry and automotive operations. He visited as well different lecture rooms, labs, computer pools, and show rooms on campus.

 

In his interview with to the MPC, GUC Media Production Center, he expressed his gratitude to the existing quality of education that the GUC is offering to the international calibers. He supported the impressive level of the teaching and of the services that the university is offering to help in preparing leaders for future who are well trained and equipped with state of the art science and technology.
