This school visit is a kick off activity in the frame of the cooperation between the German University in Cairo and the Gabriele-von-Bülow-Gymnasium (GvB).

The idea behind the GUC Campus in Berlin as Professor Ashraf Mansour emphasizes, is to bring the GUC students closer to the German culture, to inspire them for the educational and cultural activities in Berlin and to cooperate with other educational institutions. GUC Berlin Campus serves as a hub for cross-cultural encounter for Egyptian, German and also European students.

Ms. Katrin Schultze - Berndt, district counselor for school, education and culture, is enthusiastic about this cooperation. "A great educational institution in which the students of bilingual school Gabriele von Bülow - Gymnasium can study, can learn interesting facts about Egypt and its culture and at the same time practice the English language with the GUC students!" Said Education Councilor Katrin Schultze - Berndt.

More visits and various events and courses for pupils of all grade levels in Reinickendorf schools are planned to take place within the scope of the cooperation of the German University and the district of Reinickendorf.
