Employment Fair 2016

For the 11th consecutive year, German University in Cairo celebrated the “GUC Employment Fair”. About 103 companies from Europe in General, Germany in particular in addition to major multinational companies in Egypt participated in the fair aiming at providing the best working environment and opportunities to the GUC graduate. 

 

In addition to that, several internship opportunities are offered to the GUCians for summer programs. GUC enrolled students and alumni enjoyed on 9-10 April a full 2-day event.  About eight German and Spanish academic intuitions participated in the fair offering scholarship, research vacancies, and business opportunities to GUC graduates who represents the best among Egyptian calibers. 

 

A number of parallel sessions were introduced in order to orient the GUC graduates with opportunities in Stuttgart university, Tubingen, and Ulm universities. DAAD presented a session about opportunities to pursue different scholarships and post graduate studies in German.

 

 An unprecedented session was delivered by Eng. Akram Amin Abdellatif , GUC  Graduate, class 2010 entitled “ Travel to space: the Why and the How”. Akram is the first Egyptian to travel to space as he is Astronaut Candidate in PoSSUM Program, Private pilot candidate at DLR.

 

Prof. Ashraf Mansour, The Prime founder and the GUC Head of the Board of Trustees inaugurated the fair as well as the “GUC Star Program” where GUC is celebrating the distinguished graduates who marked a significance achievement in their fields whether in Egypt or Abroad. Prof. Mansour honored the graduates and their achievements in his speech. He announced as well the GUC new sustainable Energy project to be inaugurated on 19th of April in the north part of the campus.
