The African Union’s Specialized Technical Committee on Education, Science and Technology on GUC Campus

The African Union’s Specialized Technical Committee on Education, Science and Technology, with representatives of the education, higher education and scientific research sectors from 54 African countries visited GUC as a leading research oriented bi-national German/Egyptian Education Institute. The visit aimed to discuss future cooperation and the role that GUC can play in enhancing technology transfer and innovation strategy of Project 2024.

The committee included Prof. Felix Dapore Dakora President African Academy of Sciences in Pretoria South Africa, Diallo Amadou Tidjane Advisor to the Minster of higher Education and Scientific Research in Guinee, Gabriel Amamcwalt Minster counselor Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ghana Resident  in Ethiopia, and  Dr Sibongile Mtshali-Dlamini Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Education n Training of Swaziland.

GUC President Prof. Yasser Hegazy presented the achievements, mission, vision, and the philosophy of GUC. The committee visited GUC Solar City, GUC Industrial Park, GUC MNR Lab, ARAtronics Lab, and different GUC research centers.
