1st German Architecture day in Egypt (ARCH-DE) is the first series congress day on Architecture and Urban Planning topics, brings together the German and Egyptian Architects/Planners from various disciplines to share new knowledge to the Architecture, Urban Practice and Education in Egypt AUPE. Gathering architects, academics and investors; in particular, professionals who have an interest in the emerging Architecture market and the new building technologies. The ARCH-DE encourages presenting high quality of topical Architecture projects all-over the world among the experience of the German architects, planners and Professors; initiates sharing and exchanging of new building and construction technologies to the Egyptian construction industry and market.
1st ARCH-DE is organized by Egyptian Sustainable Urbanism Laboratory (ESU-Lab) at the Dept. of Architecture, Mansoura University. The congress day is funded by DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst), through two projects "Delta-TU Partnership" and "Understanding Cities", Two academic cooperation between the Technische Universität Berlin, HafenCity University HCU Hamburg, Mansoura University, Tanta University, Kafr elSheikh University, and Germany-Egypt industrial sector.
