Friends Group

Due to the importance of exchanging ideas
and discussions as indispensable tools in formulating and ameliorating
strategic projects, the creation of a Friends Group became a necessity
to be a gathering of society elites, who are interested in supporting
GUC as a strategic and national project that could contribute in developing
the Egyptian society and strengthening the German Egyptian scientific
and cultural relationships. Accordingly, the GUC Friends Group will
seek to become an advisory body for the university. |

To benefit
from the experience of GUC Friends Group members via exchanging
ideas with the University Administrative Board to support the
university.

To point GUC
study programs to the cultural, scientific and occupational
needs of the society.

To strengthen
the relationships between GUC and other national and international
institutions and companies so as to offer internships, create
job opportunities for students and to profit from the experience
of guest lecturers and speakers.

the role of GUC for developing industry by considering technical
problems and conducting research, as well as providing and developing
human resources. |

To achieve these goals, GUC Friends Group
will arrange regular meetings and discussions in order to gain deeper
insights into different ideas and concepts, so as to draw strategic
conclusions.
Therefore, GUC will establish a permanent secretary for the Friends
Group to spread concept papers among members and to receive mutual
and dynamic feedback from the Group and from the University Administrative
Board. The outcome of this synergetic enrichment will support GUC
in accomplishing its educational mission and in supplying the labor
market with highly qualified graduates, who can contribute much to
the national development. |
